What is Holy Smokes?
A little over 20 years ago, myself and a few men from the worship team I was part of got together around a cigar, some food, an adult beverage and had some of the most honest dialogs about our faith as men of God I ever had. We continued gathering for years and our community grew well beyond just the musicians in the worship team. Circumstances, life, death and moving had its way and we stopped gathering. We called it Holy Smokes

Through the encouragement of Don Schoenberger, my friend and drummer for over 20 years, a lover of God, groove, and fine cigars, we thought it time to once again, call to order the Brotherhood of the Holy Smokes.
We live in a time with access to tons of information but not to wisdom.

We live in a time where, even at church, we can feel alone in the crowd.
